Matevž Jan, born in 1976 in Kranj.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana in 2003 and after completing his second year of secondary school, he went on to specialise in internal medicine, which he completed in 2010.

In 2017, he completed a specialisation in cardiology and vascular medicine.

In addition, he was certified by the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) in 2016 as an “EHRA Certified Electrophysiology Specialist level 2”.

Since 2010, he has been a full-time employee at the University Medical Centre Ljubljana, where he is involved in outpatient and inpatient arrhythmology, including therapeutic catheter ablations for the treatment of tachycardia rhythm disorders.
