Surgical removal of a lesion on the skin and subcutaneous tissue

Skin and subcutaneous lesions such as lipomas, atheromas, cysts or suspicious skin lesions are removed surgically. The procedure is quick and is mostly carried out under local anaesthesia.

Ingrown nail surgery

An ingrown toenail causes inflammation, pain and infection. Surgery removes part of the nail and permanently prevents the problem from recurring.


Puncture of a seroma or bursa

Seromas (fluid build-up under the skin) and inflammatory bursae cause swelling and discomfort. Puncture to remove the excess fluid to reduce pain and prevent complications.

“I was struggling with knee problems. My GP referred me for a check-up and I was diagnosed with arthritis, which required treatment. The only solution was surgery, but I had to wait several months for the procedure. During this time, I would have to take strong painkillers on a daily basis. I did not want to have surgery myself, as I had already had two hip operations, which took a very long time to recover from, and I did not like that, as I am a person who enjoys an active life.
