Over the years, skin gradually loses its elasticity and firmness due to slowed collagen production and environmental influences. This results in wrinkles, which usually appear on the areas of the face where the muscles are most active. Botox is an effective solution that allows you to tackle these signs of ageing.

Botulinum toxin, more commonly known as Botox is an effective treatment for preventing wrinkles and reducing existing lines on the face. It works by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for wrinkles, which in turn reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

It is most commonly used to eliminate wrinkles on the upper part of the face. There are three regions: the forehead, around the eyes and between the eyebrows. For an optimal appearance, it is recommended to perform the region between the eyebrows and the forehead together, due to the anatomy and the functioning of the muscles, but this is at the discretion of the doctor.

One of the key goals of Botox is to maintain a natural appearance. Our doctors use an individual approach to determine the amount of Botox units, depending on the facial expression and the anatomical injection site.

About the procedure:

1. Pre-treatment consultation:

You will discuss your wishes and expectations with your doctor. The doctor will answer all your questions in detail and provide you with information about the procedure itself and any risks. This preliminary discussion is crucial for your understanding and safety throughout the procedure.

2. Preparing for the treatment:

You will arrive for your treatment without make-up and with a clean face.

3. Procedure:

This is followed by the procedure, which usually takes 10-15 minutes. The face is pre-cleansed with saline solution, the injection points are marked and Botox is injected in standard quantities. We use the thinnest needle possible, so the injection is virtually painless. The final result is visible after approx. 10-14 days. Immediately after the procedure, very fine spots remain (max. 1-2 days), which can be covered with powder. The procedure is performed in a medical clinic with the highest quality standards.

4. Post-treatment instructions:

After the procedure, we recommend that you reduce physical activity in the first few hours as a precaution and do not massage or knead the injection area.
